Case Study: Tahoe Treetop Adventure
The Assignment:
Rebranding. Take this successful start-up to the next level by developing a new logo and branding. Integrate both into advertising, imprinted logo items, gift certificates, etc. Also, create an extensive (50 different signs) directional signage system that incorporates the new branding cues.
The Result:
TTA is now the number one tourist destination in North Lake Tahoe, and has opened a third location. (Credit goes to the client for the vision/hard work it took to expand and make the success happen, but the new branding definitely helped!)
The Client Said:
When we started this business, we got a friend to do a logo. Gil came on board and was willing to use what we had, but eventually we needed to grow and the old graphics didn’t represent what we had become. So Gil and I worked together to create a new look and feel that really communicated what we are all about. Now everything is consistent: from our signs (Gil designed and built a massive 12’ rusted steel sign for our new building) to our T-shirts (T-shirt sales alone more than paid for all the design work.)
And another thing about Gil Gaus Design... He gets stuff done FAST.
